A special day curated for you in the home of Didier & Sylvie Grumbach, Domaine des Oseraies, property hosting a fabulous contemporary design collection in the heart of Faverolles (just an hour from Paris). A location you might know since the IFM Alumni gather there each September for an annual celebration.
Interior design and the luxury industry are deeply intertwined today, particularly through hospitality and retail. We are very excited to welcome Bernard Dubois, Belgian architect. You might have seen his recent work, a very sensitive and beautiful store design for Courrèges . His agency is represented by Desselle Partners (managed by alumna Sylvie Coumau). Bernard will offer you a very special masterclass.
Following a lunch in the sunny bucolic exterior, you will attend a dialogue between Bernard Dubois & Julia Capp. Julia Capp (IFM MBA 2014) is Associate General Director of RDAI. RDAI, renowned architecture firm co-founded by Rena Dumas, and part of the Hermès Group. The talk will be lead by renowned design journalist, Dan Thawley.
A private visit of the contemporary art collection will also be offered to you during the day.
