The “Association des Amis du Centre Georges Pompidou” has been inviting us for nearly four years to take part of different private visits.Discovering the exhibitions with a small group of art lovers and guided by the curators brings together all amateurs of art, from beginners to confirmed contemporary art collectors.
We are pleased to carry on organizing these key moments !
As part of the FIAC, for the third edition of YACP, les Amis du Centre Pompidou give carte blanche to the creator Rick Owens for a unique performance within the Museum.
The American designer, based in Paris, will present his universe, his rough and geometric aesthetics in dialogue with modern masterpieces.
For this unique performance, the creator has imagined "monolithic beds" on which he will stage performers, “artists-works of art", erected as moving statues responding to the museums works of art.
As an introduction, guests can enjoy a VIP access to the " Bacon-books and paintings" exhibition followed by a drink on the terrace of the restaurant Le Georges before stepping inside the Rick Owens Performance within the collections.
After midnight we will meet Rick Owens and Michele Lamy on the dance-floor as, together, they turn the spotlight to the after party - transforming the Centre Pompidou into a late-night club experience.
