Transmission, creativity and the new frontiers of luxury - A day to think about fashion differently
A landmark annual event for the alumni community of the Institut Français de la Mode, the Rencontres de Faverolles continue to evolve and reaffirm, this year once again, their merger with the Forum de la Mode in a format designed to bring together all stakeholders across the fashion and luxury ecosystem.
Since their founding in 1987, the Rencontres have been held at the Domaine des Oseraies, the estate of Didier and Sylvie Grumbach — an iconic setting for transmission, creation and intergenerational dialogue within the world of fashion.
Conceived as a space for exchange and forward thinking, this new edition will bring together IFM alumni, fashion and luxury industry professionals, creative directors, designers, researchers and emerging talent to explore the major contemporary shifts reshaping the sector.
Beyond its conference programme, the Rencontres de Faverolles have established themselves as a fully-fledged, reinvented Fashion Forum: a moment of community, collective reflection and inspiration in a unique setting, open to the intersections between fashion, culture and contemporary creation.

Afternoon

Throughout the day, attendees will also have the opportunity to:
- Explore the magazine archives of the Domaine des Oseraies through guided presentations by Jérôme Gauthier (collector and magazine specialist) - from 12h to 4pm (limited to 20 people)
- Take part in discussion circles organized by Backstage Fashion Talks (intimate conversations of 20 to 30 people on the current fashion system)
- Meet the artists and fashion designers in residence at the Domaine des Oseraies
Following a 2025 edition that brought together over 430 participants from across the fashion and luxury ecosystem, this new edition aims to build on that momentum — fostering a space for transversal, open and committed dialogue about the future of fashion.
